It is Colorado’s first solar hotel. It powers more than 5% of guest rooms & produces 42,000 kilowatt-hours of energy every year. This prevents 1.91 million pounds of Carbon Dioxide emissions, 1,291 pounds of Nitrogen Oxide emissions, and 639 tons of coal from being burned.
It partners with BIOGREEN360 to help produce zero food waste events. Its closed-loop program diverts 100% of the food waste from landfill with the residual material being integrated into an array of all-natural compost and fertilizer products.

I have been coming to SED events since 2019; I love the events, specifically 1:1 discussion and meeting people in the industry. I have gained knowledge about net zero and renewable energy with SED and experts. I have also made many connections through SED and it has helped Clemson University determine our solar energy path.

1) The 1:1 meetings are excellent opportunities to make contacts and hear new ideas—this is a highlight for us. 2) The contacts made with other buyers/ corporates and their willingness to support is also great.

I really enjoyed the opportunity for discussion with peers and suppliers. I also liked the breakout sessions that provided opportunities to learn about the difficulties with net-zero in each sector.
