Spotlight Session – Efficiency, Conservation, and Renewable Energy in Public Housing

For an organization to move toward Net Zero, several strategies should be considered, based on available resources, current conditions, the portfolio, and expected outcomes. Meanwhile, some organizations have industrial, commercial, and residential infrastructure to manage and consider – not to mention variations by location, climate, and type of infrastructure to support operations. Charles Marshall, HUD, will discuss incentive programs through its Public Housing Operating Fund, which provides funding to support investment in energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy to expand the ability of the Public Housing Authority to meet energy and water reduction goals that could support energy efficiency, climate, and NetZero strategies.
