Vice President, Commercialization & Development
In his role as Vice President of Commercialization and Development, Abhinav is head of Constellation Navigator helping customers meet their environment, energy, and operational goals. Abhinav oversees development and commercialization of sustainability solutions and Constellation Technology Venture portfolio companies. He delivers unique and competitive solutions to meet the comprehensive energy management objectives and sustainability commitments of the businesses.
Constellation is the nation’s largest supplier of clean energy with more than 32,400 megawatts of generating capacity from nuclear, wind, solar, natural gas and hydro assets. The new, publicly traded company will produce about 10% of America’s carbon-free energy, making it a leader in addressing the climate crisis and an indispensable partner to businesses and state and local governments with its carbon-reduction goals.
Professional Background:
Krishna has extensive experience developing products and solutions across Constellation’s retail and wholesale platforms for our largest corporate customers. Joining Constellation as a pricing and product analyst in 2001, he has since taken on diverse leadership roles managing Commercialization, Product Development, Structuring, Risk, Marketing, Retail Strategy, Analytics and Portfolio Management. With deep expertise across power, natural gas, and renewable energy segments, he helps customers meet both their sustainability commitments and business objectives.
Krishna also leverages his expertise in sustainability and energy markets help companies meet renewable energy and efficiency goals. He develops comprehensive sustainability plans that enhance operational efficiency through integrated solutions encompassing baseline, procurement, carbon free options, renewables, energy efficiency and load response to maximize results.
Additionally, Krishna has a key role providing strategic direction for Constellation’s new division, Constellation Navigator. Driven by advanced technology platforms and strategic advisors, Constellation Navigator helps businesses solve challenges across the energy lifecycle including data and analytics, carbon accounting, sustainability advisory, utility bill management and rebate administration.
Educational Background:
Krishna received his bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, England. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Abhinav is involved in local community, and has been board member of local non-profit (CASA Baltimore), and is in the Greater Baltimore Leadership Program.
