Sarah Emerson is an Environmental Services Specialist with the City of San José’s Climate Smart team. She advances a wide range of resident-focused programs prioritizing equity, community engagement, and achieving San José’s climate goals. She previously worked for the City as an Environmental Inspector, and helped businesses comply with regulations and implement best practices to prevent pollutants from entering the San Francisco Bay. Sarah is passionate about building a resilient, sustainable, just future for all. She holds a B.S. in Society and Environment from UC Berkeley.
