Shannon McGriff is the Executive Director of The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA) and the Principal of McGriff Energy Consulting, a full service energy management firm based in Houston, Texas. As Executive Director for TEPA she drives the association’s board of directors’ strategic plans, including industry advocacy efforts, membership activation and retention, government relations, event management, education and financing. Over the last decade Shannon has proven to be a powerful voice throughout the competitive energy markets. She participated in the PUC rulemaking process for the broker registration bill in ERCOT, provides testimony for state legislatures, and advises policies and regulations that impact the retail energy market. Shannon regularly speaks at leading industry events, including the New York Energy Week, North American Blockchain Summit, and the Renewable Energy Market Conference. She sits on the board of the Mays Business School Department of Finance Trading, Risk, Investment Program at her alma mater, Texas A&M University, where she helps prepare students for careers in energy.
